Jacksonville’s St. Johns Town Center Expanding with New Retail and Dining Options
Jacksonville, FL — The St. Johns Town Center is set to receive a variety of new stores and dining options as it continues to evolve into the premier shopping destination in Northeast Florida. With several exciting projects currently underway, shoppers can look forward to an enhanced experience in the coming months and years.
Current Developments
One of the notable changes is the temporary relocation of Mayors Jewelers, which is renovating its original space at 4834 River City Drive, No. 119. While construction is ongoing, the jeweler has moved to 4813 River City Drive, No. 137, nestled between high-end retailers Gucci and Madewell.
Another anticipated opening comes from Dave’s Hot Chicken, a California-based eatery that is preparing to serve its chicken dishes at 10261 River Marsh Drive, No. 137, adjacent to PetSmart and Firehouse Subs. This will mark the first location for the brand in Jacksonville, taking over a space that was previously occupied by T-Mobile.
The trendy footwear brand Crocs is also making its way to St. Johns with a new outlet near Target. The city is currently reviewing a permit application for the location at 4611 River City Drive, Suite C01, previously occupied by Uniformi-T.
Exciting Store Moves
The sunglasses retailer Oakley is relocating to 4751 River City Drive, Unit 119. This space previously housed Breitling watches. Meanwhile, renowned watchmaker Omega is establishing a new storefront at 4835 River City Drive, No. 105, with plans to open in 2025, taking over the former Tesla location next to Apple.
Fashion house Marc Jacobs is also making a move, intending to open a new space adjacent to Talbots at 4812 River City Drive, Unit 119. The city is examining a proposal to split the existing Talbots store into at least two retail spaces.
New Dining and Entertainment Experiences
Looking ahead, Pinstripes Holdings Inc. has plans to introduce a unique dining and entertainment venue that combines a bistro, bowling, and bocce ball. This venue is set to open in 2025 on the site where West Elm previously stood.
Additionally, the Chicago-based indoor mini-golf company Puttshack has plans to establish a location across the street, although the specific site remains unannounced.
Gorjana, a women’s jewelry store, has plans to set up shop between Chico’s and Vow’d at 4712 River City Drive. In addition, Aroma360 is working to open its scenting service store at 4818 River City Drive, Unit 101.
Current and Future Retail Opportunities
Other establishments making moves include Rowan, an ear-piercing retailer currently exploring options across from Maggiano’s Little Italy, and Komma Tea & Natural Homemade Desserts, which is set to offer a menu of milk teas and macaron desserts at 10281 Midtown Parkway.
In further updates, Louis Vuitton is in the process of renovating its location at 4834 River City Drive, Unit 101, while the popular Italian-American restaurant Maggiano’s Little Italy is enhancing its outdoor dining experience.
Signage and Infrastructure Changes
As part of its ongoing enhancements, St. Johns Town Center is replacing its four main entry signs for the first time since 2005. This upgrade is being managed by Dowling Signs and has a project cost totaling $402,880.
With so many changes taking place, St. Johns Town Center affirms its commitment to providing an appealing shopping and dining experience for residents and visitors alike.
