New Canopy Road Cafe Brings Unique Dining Experience to Jacksonville’s Mandarin Area

New Canopy Road Cafe Opens in Jacksonville’s Mandarin Area

Jacksonville, FL – A fresh culinary spot has opened its doors in the Mandarin area, bringing a unique twist to traditional breakfast and lunch dishes. The Canopy Road Cafe officially launched its third location at 10560 Old St. Augustine Road, within the Crossroads at Mandarin retail center, an area anchored by a Walmart Neighborhood Market. The new café spans 1,800 square feet and accommodates 70 diners, enhancing the local dining scene.

Who Are the Owners?

The cafe is co-owned by brothers Nick and Zach Presti, who are excited about expanding their restaurant family. Earlier this year, they introduced another breakfast concept, Eggboy, in Atlantic Beach in partnership with Canopy Road Cafe’s CEO and co-founder, Brad Buckenheimer. The Presti brothers are committed to providing a warm, family-oriented atmosphere, with the goal of making guests feel at home, much like visiting their grandmother’s house.

What Makes the New Location Special?

This latest Canopy Road Cafe marks several firsts for the brand. It is the first location to feature an outdoor seating area, allowing patrons to enjoy their meals in Jacksonville’s pleasant weather. Additionally, it introduces mimosas to the menu, with plans to add beer and wine offerings in the coming months. The café aims to cater to a diverse clientele looking for enjoyable dining experiences.

What’s on the Menu?

The Canopy Road Cafe menu boasts a wide array of breakfast, brunch, and lunch items, along with seasonal treats. Current highlights include Pumpkin Spice Donut Holes, Sweet Potato Pancakes, Salmon BLT, and BBQ Chicken Quesadilla. The cafe prides itself on serving delicious food at affordable prices while maintaining quick and courteous service. The establishment is open daily from 6:30 a.m. to 2:15 p.m..

Why Open in Mandarin?

The decision to expand into Mandarin aligns with the brothers’ mission to become a staple in Northeast Florida’s dining landscape. “This year has been an incredibly exciting year for us,” expressed the brothers in a news release. “We hope to continue expanding our footprint in Northeast Florida with Canopy Road Café.” By opening in Mandarin, the brothers aim to win over the local community and become a beloved dining destination.

A Quick Reflection on Previous Locations

The Presti brothers opened their first Canopy Road Cafe in Jacksonville in 2019 at 12525 Philips Highway, followed by a second location at 90 Shops Blvd. in 2021 within St. Johns. With each new restaurant, they have focused on creating a unique dining experience that caters to the needs and preferences of the local community.

Conclusion

The introduction of Canopy Road Cafe in Mandarin is poised to add a valuable option for those seeking specialty breakfast and lunch offerings in the Jacksonville area. With an inviting atmosphere, diverse menu options, and a commitment to service, the Presti brothers are set to make their mark in the local food scene.
