New Chick-fil-A Location to Open in Jacksonville with Enhanced Features in 2025

New Chick-fil-A Location Set to Open in Jacksonville

Jacksonville, Fla. — A popular fast-food restaurant is on the move in Jacksonville’s Southside area. Chick-fil-A is set to close its longtime location at 4461 Southside Blvd. by the end of the year, making way for a new and larger restaurant just down the street at 4555 Southside Blvd.

Expansion to Serve Customers Better

The decision to relocate comes after 24 years of serving the community from the existing spot. The new Chick-fil-A will be situated within the Deerwood Park North commercial center, also known as Tinseltown, famous for its nearby movie theater. This new building is expected to open to the public in January 2025, provided there are no delays in construction.

Modern Updates and Improved Service

The new restaurant is being built on the site of the now-closed Wild Wing Cafe. One of the highlights of the new Chick-fil-A will be an updated drive-thru, which includes a dedicated lane specifically for mobile orders. This improvement is expected to significantly enhance service speed and efficiency for customers.

In addition to a modern drive-thru, the kitchen in the new location will be equipped with upgraded technology. These enhancements are designed to increase the restaurant’s capacity and improve the overall dining experience for customers. Chick-fil-A officials confirmed these changes during an announcement.

Continued Local Ownership

The transition to the new site will be overseen by Jack Brown, who currently owns the existing Chick-fil-A location. Brown will continue to manage operations at the new restaurant. This continuity is set to ensure that regular customers can expect similar quality and service they have come to enjoy over the years.

Community Response

The decision to move has garnered interest in the local community. Many residents have expressed excitement over the new location, particularly with the upgrades aimed at improving service speed and food preparation. The increased capacity is anticipated to accommodate the growing demand for Chick-fil-A’s popular menu items.

Looking Ahead

As the end of the year approaches, customers will be reminded of the closing of the original location. The restaurant’s team has not only committed to ensuring that their existing customers feel valued but also aims to provide an even better dining experience in 2025.

For now, fans of Chick-fil-A can continue to enjoy their favorite meals at the current location while looking forward to the many enhancements that the new site will bring.
