With the fifth edition of the Florida high school softball Times-Union Power Poll just released, we’re buzzing with excitement about the impressive performances from our teams! As of March 15, 2025, let’s take a closer look at how our Jacksonville teams are holding up and shining bright in the rankings!
The Stingrays Take the Top Spot
Taking the top spot this week, we’ve got the Stingrays who have shown incredible tenacity and skill on the field. After moving up from the second rank, they now ride high after clinching three decisive victories in a row:
- 16-5 against Jackson
- 8-2 against Ridgeview
- 1-0 against Fleming Island
Leading this roaring success is sophomore Morgan Brown, providing her team with a remarkable batting average of .455, an OPS of 1.202, and an impressive ERA of 1.77. This powerhouse team is currently enjoying an exhilarating 11 consecutive game-winning streak!

Lauren was a first-team all-area pitcher with a stunning 1.96 ERA and 150 strikeouts last season, while Bailey earned second-team all-area recognition with a remarkable .462 batting average and 21 RBIs, which includes five home runs!
