This win, which took place on a wonderful Monday night, marked an exciting culmination to Senior Night festivities, and it also showcased the team’s incredible talent and depth.
From tip-off to the final buzzer, the action was nonstop, featuring an impressive nine lead changes and nine tie scores. Both teams remained neck and neck throughout the game, but it was Jacksonville’s defense that shone brightly, successfully holding EKU under 60 points for the first time this season. This achievement is particularly noteworthy given that it was only the second time JU managed to score below 60 in conference play.
